This “Sea Park” is located beside the TecnoCampus Mataró technology and innovation park. Some 750 m long and 50 m wide, the park’s boundaries are formed by Passeig de Marina, Avinguda Ernest Lluch, the railway line and Passeig del Rengle.
The Parc de Mar is a large landscaped area where visitors can enjoy views over the sea as they stroll along the winding paths in the park. Occupying a total gardened area of 37,500 m2, its design includes a series of circles that break up its linear appearance and feature many rich and varied elements: different species of trees, bushes and aromatic plants; grassland; multi-purpose paved courts; three children's play areas for different ages; a dune viewpoint reached by steps; and the amphitheatre, a space ideal for both resting and playing.
