The Mercat Santero of Mataró is a commercial and festive event that fills Santa Maria Square with stalls from local businesses and products linked to the Festa Major and the city’s popular culture. Throughout the day, visitors can find T-shirts, bags, capes, hats and other Santero items, as well as offerings from central shops that reinforce a spirit of tradition and local trade. The event is designed for strolling, shopping and enjoying the festive atmosphere, with complementary activities for all audiences that help turn the market into a space for community and celebration.
