Mataró is a city with a great wealth of Modernist heritage: factories, markets, shops, houses, and much more. This tour takes you to the most iconic Modernist sites in the city.
Highlights include the legacy of local architect, historian and politician, Josep Puig i Cadafalch (El Rengle Market, Casa Coll i Regàs, the shop “La Confianza”...) and Antoni Gaudí’s first building, the only remnant of the manufacturing plant of the Mataró Workers Cooperative (La Obrera Mataronense) that has come down to us, known as the “Nau Gaudí”.
